Art glass vase,
My nephew and his wife like their gift. It is made exceptionally well, and the use of color is really pretty. When you can’t think of a gift to give to someone who has everything, try art glass. Amazon is lucky to have work from this talented artist.

|Not at all what I pictured,
I was really excited to order this vase, as it looked very unique and I loved the colors – I thought it would make a great Christmas present for my sister in law. I was extremely disappointed when I opened the package to find a VERY heavy, bulky, and quite tacky looking vase! I felt the top lip and curly q were too big and out of proportion to the rest of the vase and the coloring was tacky – not as much brown as the picture and there was a lot of glittery color used. Also, the glass is VERY thick, which adds to the tacky feel of the vase. I understand that every piece will look different, as it’s hand blown – but it just didn’t look at all like the picture represented. Needless to say, I didn’t give the vase to my sister in law for Christmas. What’s worse, is that I’m stuck with it because I’ve now discovered the company charges a 20 or 25% restocking fee and with the weight of the vase, it just wouldn’t be worth the shipping fee to bother trying to return it! Maybe I’ll have a Mardi Gras party some day and get some use out of it

Bought this as a gift, and I was just amazed at the quality. It has great weight to it, the colors are vibrant, the size and proportions of it are perfect. The packaging it was sent in protected it beautifully. It was very hard to give away. I may have to come back and order one for myself.
